Wahoo!

I love ALL of my family portraits and honestly create them with the same vision and care to make them worthy (in my judgement) to hang with the best of them. But, there are a few that I have created, that I have a gut feeling will make the Professional Photographers of America, International Print Competition judges happy also.  The judging is stiff and to get a merit is exiting and satisfying, but to have an image "go loan" is a wahoo! moment.  That is what happened with the Dahl girls portrait I submitted for 2009 ... loan :)  It's going to be published in a beautiful coffee table book with the other Loan prints for 2009 and sent with a traveling International Loan Exhibit around the world.  Thanks girls!
